Hello, Little Rock! We’re excited to share that illustrator Li Zeng and I will be presenting at Lift the Rock this Tuesday, March 28th at 9:00am.
Lift the Rock is a weekly networking event that takes place at the Venture Center in downtown Little Rock. It features 15-20 minute investor-style pitches from local startups. The program is “designed to integrate growing startup companies with the established business community in Central Arkansas.”

Fingers Crossed for the Gong
Definitely, one of my favorite parts of Lift the Rock is the gong, which the Lift the Rock staff allows startup founders who’ve reached big milestones to ring. The gong had a waiting list, the last time I heard — there are guidelines and an application for gonging!
Since the Venture Center relocated from its former Markham Street location to the new, beautiful Little Rock Technology Park location, I’ve spied the gong in its corner, but I’m hoping to see the gigantic instrument in action next week. Let’s celebrate some gong-worthy milestones, friends!
Li and I will present on our overall plan and founding story for Little Launchers, starting with the Little Launchers book series, which will launch on Kickstarter just an hour before our Lift the Rock debut. (Are you as excited as I am?!)
Hope to see our Little Rock friends there!
