Next week is an exciting one for Little Launchers. A day after our Kickstarter launch, we’ll be presenting at 1 Million Cups Little Rock, where we’ll showcase our story, products, and development timeline.
1 Million Cups is “a free, national program designed to educate, engage, and connect entrepreneurs. Developed by the Kauffman Foundation, 1MC is based on the notion that entrepreneurs discover solutions and network over a million cups of coffee.”
Illustrator Li Zeng and I will present for six minutes, followed by 20 minutes of audience questions. Co-organizers Abby Sims and Errin Stanger (among the full co-organizer group) have been super helpful as we’ve developed our presentation. Special thank you to those two!

Though he doesn’t co-organize it anymore, it flourishes on and is expanding to Conway. Now, that’s community growing right there.
1 Million Cups Little Rock takes place at the Arkansas Regional Innovation Hub, just over the bridge in North Little Rock. We hope to see you there; if not for us and our co-presenters Strengthen, for the delicious Leiva’s Coffee that will perk you right up!
The national 1 Million Cups organization was founded in April 2012 in Kansas City, Missouri. Today, it is “led by more than 300 volunteers in 35+ states, one U.S. territory, and six time zones. It attracts an estimated national weekly attendance of more than 2,500 people,” says the website.
Little Launchers is excited to soon be a part of the 1 Million Cup presenters community. I, for one, have certainly enjoyed attending the Little Rock events over the past two years since moving back to Arkansas. See you there!
